John and Cole are fun to be with and inspirational to creating great images while on location. This was my third trip with them to Death Valley and the Alabama Hills and we always find new things to photograph. I highly recommend John as a trip leader regardless of the location and Cole adds to the overall experience.

John & Cole, thank you very much for a great experience at the Alabama Hills - Death Valley workshop. We had a wonderful time, and you took us to excellent places to photograph. Also had some informative presentations. Appreciate you both for being available as we had questions. Also appreciated Cole taught me a simple way to set up the camera for long exposures and how to adjust as needed, and you helped me with my FujiFilm camera. Enjoyed being with the group of fellow photographers. Great workshop leaders, great places to photograph and a great group, couldn’t ask for anything more. Garry & Susan

This workshop was a great experience—fun, engaging, and a learning experience. I walked away with new techniques, a fresh perspective, and a renewed excitement for shooting. What really made it special was the supportive energy throughout the workshop. The leaders were genuinely encouraging and helped create a space where it felt easy to experiment, ask questions, and grow. I’m grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend it.
